2013 Provincial Sales Tax (PST)
As you are probably aware, effective April 1, 2013 B.C. returns to a provincial sales tax (PST) system.
The tax on your invoice will change from 12% BC HST to 5% GST and 7% PST, unless you qualify for exemption from BC PST
If you intend to claim exemption from BC PST, you will need to provide M and J your PST number or a Certificate of Exemption
Open House 2013 - Opening the Door to a Greener Tomorrow!

Coats for Kids 2011 Campaign...
GVHBA launches its 16th annual Coats for Kids campaign on Monday, November 21. The public will be invited to drop off the apparel at participating members' offices or sales centers from November 21 to December 9.
The public response last year was heartwarming, with more than 3,000 coats, scarves, gloves, mittens, blankets, toques and toys donated for distribution to families in need throughout the Greater Vancouver area by the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau and other agencies.

Custom CNC routing is now available at M and J Woodcrafts. It has been available for quite a while, except we were being so humble we didn't want to tell anyone for fear of appearing arrogant. Well, Humble doesn't pay the bills. Come Challenge us today. We have the hardware, software, and brainware that makes a lot of things possible. And 99.9% of the time, when something is routed in MDF then pressed in vinyl or painted, it looks really cool. If you've seen our showroom, you'll know what I mean. It's as good a day as any to impress your client (or even yourself), so let's get to work.

Chocolate Pear 133 Texture Notification...
Please be aware that M and J Woodcrafts will be switching their Chocolate Pear Vinyl from Renolit's 060 texture to their 133 texture, August 22nd, 2011 (a small inventory for warranty claims will be retained in-house). The difference between the two textures is 060 has a smooth finish while the 133 has a stippled finish. Your board and tape matches will remain the same.
